Electronic music is a genre created using electronic technologies and instruments, encompassing a wide range of styles and subgenres, from dance and electronic pop to experimental and ambient.

Since the 1960s, electronic music has gained new possibilities. The Minimoog, released in 1970, is considered one of the first commercially successful synthesizers. This period was also characterized by experiments with tape recorders and the creation of electronic sound effects.

In the 1980s and 1990s, electronic genres such as techno, house, trance, and many others emerged, making electronic music a significant part of modern culture. During this period, computer technologies also advanced, opening new possibilities for creating and producing electronic music. This includes the use of software for sound synthesis and processing, as well as the creation of music using digital means.
